The Mid-Year Reset

Get your Asana, and your head, back under control this summer.

We're halfway through the year. Somewhere along the way, things started slipping. Tasks falling through the cracks. A to-do list you've half given up on. That quiet, constant I'm so far behind I don't even know where to start.

In a few focused sessions we clear the whole thing out, MyTasks, Inbox, projects, automations, the lot, and build you a system you can actually keep tidy.

First, let's see if this is you

Sound familiar?

I can't keep up. I'm always behind, no matter how early I start.

I'm scrambling to keep up, but the mess just keeps piling up. I can't see where to start.

I feel so overwhelmed with work, and things just keep adding to it.

My tasks live everywhere: email, notebooks, Slack, sticky notes, three other places. I don't have a system.

My inbox is my to-do list, and I never reach the bottom.

I've lost overview of everything, and now things are starting to fall through the cracks.

I've used Asana for years, but somewhere it turned into a mess I can't seem to get a handle on.

I keep meaning to sort it out, then life happens and I'm back to the start.

This isn't about discipline. Life happens to all of us, and things get messy sometimes. All you need is a system to fall back on, one that helps you clear the chaos and get back on track.

The feeling you're after

What you're really after isn't just a tidier app or an empty inbox

It's the feeling on the other side of it. By the time we're done:

  • You open Asana and everything is exactly where it should be.
  • Your inbox has a bottom again, and you've actually seen it.
  • Nothing lives in your head rent-free. It's all captured in one place you trust.
  • You start the day knowing what to pick up, instead of bracing yourself.
  • You head into summer without the mental rucksack.
Space in your inbox, space in your task list, space in your mind.
Anne Nynke Jansma, relaxed and in control

The feeling on the other side

“When we're done, I want you to feel that sigh of relief, because you finally have a grip on your work again.”

An organised Asana My Tasks board, the kind of clean setup we build together

Why a reset works

Why this works when sorting it yourself doesn't

You've tried to fix it before, in stolen half-hours between meetings, and it never holds. A Reset works differently. We do it together, in focused sessions, so it actually gets finished. And we don't stop at clean. We build the habits that keep it that way. Two things happen at once:

  • We clear out your Asana: MyTasks, Inbox, projects, automations, the lot.
  • We wrap a Getting Things Done system around it, so it stays tidy after I'm gone. We use GTD to build a personal work management system that works for you.
"Your mind is for having ideas, not holding them."David Allen, Getting Things Done

A tidy Asana only stays tidy with the right habits around it. That's the part most clean-ups skip, and exactly why they don't last.

Asana My Tasks with automations running, the kind of clean setup we build together

What you get

What we'll do together

  • A full clean-up of your Asana space: MyTasks organised around the way you actually work, Inbox cleared, projects restructured so they make sense again.
  • The automations that quietly broke, fixed. The dead weight, archived, so only the live stuff remains.
  • A personal GTD system to capture, process and organise whatever lands on your plate.
  • A weekly rhythm and the habits to stay on top of it, and to get back on track when things get busy.
  • Tips and tricks tailored to the way you work, not a generic template.
  • You keep all of it. The system is yours to run long after we're done.

It helps you understand how Asana can make your workday easier and better organised. Honestly, Asana either is or can be the answer to everything.

Who it's for

Is this for you?

This is for you if

  • You use Asana (or want to), and lately it's been more stressful than helpful.
  • You're a knowledge worker, team lead or founder drowning in your own to-do list.
  • You've fallen behind, and you're ready to stop white-knuckling it.
  • You want a system that sticks, not another productivity hack you'll abandon by Friday.
  • You'd rather do it with someone than stare at the mess on your own.

It's probably not for you if

  • You want a magic button. Asana is not going to solve all your problems. The structure and the habits around it are what make the difference, and that's the work we do together.
  • You're after a big team roll-out right now. This is one to one, built around you. (That's a different conversation, and I'm happy to have it.)

Everything needs a home

“When your house gets messy, you tidy up and put things back in their place. Why not do the same for your digital space? It starts with giving everything a place to land.”

Anne Nynke

How it works

From chaos to a system you trust

01

Empty your mind

We get everything out of your head, every commitment, loose end and half-thought, and into one place instead of rattling around your brain.

02

Clean up your space

Together we go through your setup and clear it out: tidy the Inbox, organise MyTasks, fix the broken automations, restructure the projects.

03

Build your system

We set up a personal GTD system around the way you actually work, with the essentials to capture, process and organise whatever lands on your plate.

04

Keep it clean

You finish with a clean slate and a system to fall back on. Think of it like the leash on a surfboard: when things get busy and you fall off, it helps you climb back on. Every time.

A 90-minute kickoff, then focused 60-minute working sessions, all one to one and online, spread across roughly 3 to 10 weeks, so there's time to do the work between them and fit it around your week.

I can use Asana to empty my mind much more. I used to forget little things, and that got much better.

A little personal

Why I care about this

I've spent years inside other people's systems, and I keep seeing the same thing: capable, switched-on people quietly drowning, convinced they're the only ones who can't keep up. You're not the only one, and I know that feeling from the inside.

I've lived with ADHD my whole life, and I learned young that structure is what helps my brain function. Just as I need to clear the clutter around my desk before I can focus, I learned to declutter my head too, to free up space for the work that matters. As a certified Getting Things Done trainer, I use that same system to organise my own work and mind, and now I help others apply this proven framework.

Ten years ago I had an accident, followed by a long recovery and reintegration, where I had to relearn how to manage my limited energy across a day and a week. I'm grateful to be back to full health, but what I learned about pacing my time and energy has stuck with me ever since.

So this work isn't only about getting more done. Better still, it's about lifting the overwhelm, giving you back a sense of control over your time and your day, and helping you manage your energy. Hand me the chaos, and I'll hand you back the calm.

My whole aim is to make myself obsolete: you leave knowing how to keep it clean yourself.

Why now

Summer is the perfect window

Summer is a strange in-between. One by one the team heads off on holiday, the calendar goes quiet, and it's not the moment to kick off a big initiative anyway. Which makes it the ideal time to turn inward and get your own setup sorted. Do it now, and you walk into the busy second half of the year clear, calm and ahead, instead of buried before you've even begun.

Investment

An investment in getting unstuck

Think about what the mess costs you right now. The hours lost looking for things. The tasks redone because they slipped. The mental tax of carrying it all in your head. The Sunday-night dread.

A Reset costs less than what you're already losing to the chaos every week. And you get those hours, and that head-space, back from here on.

Two ways to do it, depending on how much guidance you'd like.

In their words

What clients say

Anne Nynke is an experienced Asana user and trainer. She gave us a great start with Asana, plus valuable tips to improve our work process and team communication.

Alexander van Elsas, CEO, Adgoji

10/10 would recommend. Anne Nynke is a great presenter, and gives a good introduction to GTD. An interesting and helpful method. What I valued most was seeing how she applies GTD in her own life.

Emma van den Berg, Brand Manager, Studio HENK

Having these 1:1s keeps me improving my templates and takes off the stress that my template has to be perfect on the first day.

Franziska Walder, Marketing Manager, Just Eat Takeaway

It was fun to learn the basics of Asana. If you're having trouble planning, you should definitely learn how to use it.

Before you ask

Questions, answered

How much time does this take from me each week?

Less than you'd think. We meet for a session, then you have a bit of homework to do the work between them. It's designed to fit around a full calendar, not add a second job. We set a pace that's realistic for you.

Do the sessions have to be weekly?

No. We spread them across roughly 3 to 10 weeks, whatever rhythm suits you. Some people want it done quickly, every other week, others prefer more breathing room between sessions. Your call. It all happens online over Zoom.

I'm not really set up in Asana yet. Is that a problem?

Not at all. We can start from a blank slate or from the clutter that's already piled up, both are fine. As an Asana Services Partner I'll get you set up properly either way. And the GTD habits work no matter which tools you use.

Is this just for individuals, or teams too?

The Mid-Year Reset is one to one, built entirely around you and your work. If you'd like to offer the same 1:1 reset to a few people on your team, we can absolutely arrange that, just say so.

I want my team to use Asana better, can you help?

Definitely, that's the day job. Beyond this 1:1 reset, I help whole teams work better in Asana, with shared workflows, projects and reporting, so everyone works the same way and nothing slips. Take a look at how I help teams, or book a call and we'll talk it through.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Just ask when we speak and we'll sort out a payment split that works for you.

Will this really get me back on track?

I'm confident it will. But there's no magic wand here: the work is still yours to do. What I do is guide you, simplify the complex, reduce the noise and clear the chaos, so you're left with a clean slate and a system to fall back on when things get busy again.

Unstuck yourself!

You can keep promising yourself you'll sort it out "when things calm down". Or you can give it three sessions and actually be done.

I want you to feel lighter when we're done. Back in control, and ready to ace the rest of the year with renewed energy.
